O Gauge Test Track

The club hold occasional O Gauge Test Track days. These are  open to anyone with an interest in O Gauge Modelling; you do not have to be a member of the Gauge O Guild, ALSRM or NMRS to come along.

The test track is a dual circuit approx 30′ x16′. Trackwork is Peco, hence only suitable for O Finescale wheel standards (e.g. Slaters, Heljan, Finescale Brass, etc.).

Operation is by DC, Battery-powered Radio-controlled (BPRC) or DCC.

Sorry, but we are unable to operate steam, third rail, Scaleseven or coarse scale.

Items of stock are brought to the open day at the owners’ risk, we will not be taking out additional insurance as the cost is prohibitive.

Our aim is to provide a friendly running session where you can run your loco (we can provide rolling stock). Beginners are most welcome, if you are contemplating switching to O Gauge, or have a loco giving issues then come along. There will be a number of people there who will be willing to help with advice.

Donations toward costs are most welcome.

The last O Gauge Test Track day was scheduled for 10:00 to 15:00 February 2nd 2019 at the clubrooms (directions here)
